TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Global Shipping and Auto Sales, is a freight forwarding agency, specializing in the export
and imports of goods via ocean/air. We have a Shipping License, which is issued by the
Federal Maritime Commission.

INSURANCE COVERAGE. Full Container Load (FCL)
If you are shipping cargo on an FCL basis, the carrier is liable to only $500 of the total
shipment as the container your goods are loaded in is consider 1 shipping unit.

All cargo must be packed properly for export to be eligible for the above-described
insurance. If you are shipping used household goods or personal effects, the
above-described insurance will only cover loss unless otherwise agreed upon in writing
by Global Shipping and Auto Sales.

STORAGE
Unless otherwise agreed in writing by Global Shipping and Auto Sales, storage charges
will incur after 5 business days from the time the goods were delivered. Storage charges
are rated as such: $0.30/Cubic foot, minimum of $10.00/Day.

TRANSIT TIME
We make every effort to have the shipment arrive at its destination on time. However,
we do not guarantee a specific transit time.

DOCUMENTATION
Documentation must be completed and sent to Global shipping and Auto sales, no later
than one day after shipment is tendered. Specific instructions will be given in advance and
in writing as to what documentation is required for shipping purposes. Failure to complete
the documentation required by Global Shipping and Auto Sales, in writing, will result in a
delay of your shipment and storage charges may incur.

DESTINATION CHARGES
All international shipments are subject to destination duty, tax, VAT, terminal fees and or
other fees, which are to the account of the consignee unless otherwise agreed to in
writing by Global Shipping and Auto Sales.

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
It is the responsibility of the consignee to clear customs at destination unless otherwise
agreed to in writing by Global Shipping and Auto Sales.

SHIPPERS RESPONSIBILITY
It is the responsibility of the shipper to know and understand the laws governing the
export/import of freight.

US CUSTOMS
US Customs can hold, inspect, search and/or confiscate your cargo with or without
warning. Any charges that incur as a result are to be paid by the shipper. If shipper
refuses to pay, his/her shipment will be placed on hold until charges are paid in full.

PAYMENT
Payment must be made prior to the shipments sailing date. If not paid on time, and
in full, your shipment will be held and storage charges may incur.

Global Shipping and Auto Sales accepts the following methods of payment: Money order,
cashiers check, company check, certified check, and wire transfers.
